A 2-Part Workshop For Teens (12-16)
Wednesday 22nd & 29th April · 7-8pm GMT · Live on Zoom · £15
In a world full of pressure, distractions, and emotional highs and lows, many young people struggle to find balance – feeling either overwhelmed by fear or drifting into false hope.
This 2-part interactive workshop explores two of the most powerful states of the heart in Islam: hope (rajā’) and fear (khawf) – and how they shape a Muslim’s relationship with Allah.
Through practical guidance, real-life examples, and meaningful discussion, students will learn how to build a balanced mindset that strengthens their īmān and helps them navigate everyday challenges.
What will be covered:
- How to stay hopeful – even during difficult times
- Building a real connection with Allah through hope and fear
- Understanding healthy vs unhealthy fear
- When hope becomes dangerous
- Overcoming anxiety, negativity, and low motivation
- Who we should (and shouldn’t) fear
- How to stay consistent in worship and avoid extremes
A believer’s heart should live between hope and fear – not leaning too far into one at the expense of the other. When properly understood, these two qualities protect a person from sin, motivate them towards good, and bring them closer to Allah.
This workshop aims to give young Muslims the tools to develop that balance in a way that is practical, relatable, and rooted in authentic Islamic teachings.
